(Wednesday, February 1; Sioux Center, Iowa) Devin Endel, a senior at Tom Glenn High School (Texas), has announced his intention to attend Dordt and join the Defender football program.
Endel recorded 48 tackles with seven pass breakups and two blocked field goals during his senior season and is listed as a 5-9, 160 pound safety. Endel earned all-district honorable mention honors and was a second-team academic all-state pick.
"I fell in love with campus and staff and I truly felt God led me to become a Defender. Dordt will set me up for great things in the future," said Endel.
Devin is the son of Damon and Tiffany Endel of Leander, Texas. He plans to study business administration at Dordt.
Dordt University in Sioux Center, Iowa, is a comprehensive Christian college rooted in the Reformed tradition. The Defender athletic program is a part of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA), Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC), American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA) and the Mid-American Collegiate Hockey Association (MACHA).?
U.S. News & World Report, Money Magazine, Forbes.com, Washington Monthly, and Princeton Review all list Dordt on their best colleges lists. Dordt is home to approximately 1,500 students.
