"I am so very excited to have Bridget join both our cheer and dance programs at Dordt next year! I have gotten to know her over the last several years from our high school camps, and I know already that she will be a great fit for our team. Bridget has great technique, a positive attitude, and a hard work mentality, and I am excited to see what she will all bring to these teams over the next few years at Dordt," said Dordt cheer and dance coach Mel Knobloch.

Bridget is the daughter of Eric and Angela Vande Zande of Pella, Iowa. She plans to study business or education

"I wanted to be at a college where I feel welcomed and loved. Dordt is a place where I feel open to meeting new people who have the same interest in learning about Christ," said Vande Zande.
