Lennes To Join Defender Hockey

(Friday, April 21; Sioux Center, Iowa) Griffin Lennes, a senior at St. Agnes High School (Minnesota), has announced his intention to attend Dordt and join the hockey program.  

"Griffin is someone we have been after for quite a while. As a program, we are excited that he has decided to further his education and his hockey career at Dordt University. He will be a great addition on and off the ice, and we are excited to see him continue to push us to new heights! Griffin also comes from a strong background that will help us push further into the Defender Way," said Dordt Hockey Coach Tyler Morgan

Lennes is a 6-3 forward/defenseman. 

Griffin is the son of Sean and Donna Lennes of Stillwater, Minnesota. He plans to study digital media

Dordt University in Sioux Center, Iowa, is a comprehensive Christian college rooted in the Reformed tradition. The Defender athletic program is a part of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA), Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC), American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA) and the Mid-American Collegiate Hockey Association (MACHA).?    

U.S. News & World Report, Money Magazine, Forbes.com, Washington Monthly, and Princeton Review all list Dordt on their best colleges lists. Dordt is home to approximately 1,500 students.
