Bullock To Golf For Defenders

(Wednesday, April 4; Sioux Center, Iowa) Meghan Bullock, a senior at Sioux Center High School (Iowa), has announced her intention to attend Dordt and join the Defender golf program.  

"We look forward to Meghan joining the golf team. She brings a strong desire for competition and has a high degree of motivation to grow as a player. We are excited to see how she develops within our system," said Dordt golf coach Jon Crane

Bullock had a 52 stroke average during 2022 on nine holes and an 18 hole average of 103.  She's also competed in Junior PGA and earned all-conference honors as a junior and qualified for the state high school meet.  

"I am choosing to attend Dordt because it will give me the opportunity to strengthen my relationship with others in my community and God. I also look forward to studying in the social work program," said Bullock.  

Meghan is the daughter of Jennifer and Nathan Bullock of Sioux Center, Iowa. She plans to study Social Work at Dordt.  

Dordt University in Sioux Center, Iowa, is a comprehensive Christian college rooted in the Reformed tradition. The Defender athletic program is a part of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA), Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC), American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA) and the Mid-American Collegiate Hockey Association (MACHA).?    

U.S. News & World Report, Money Magazine, Forbes.com, Washington Monthly, and Princeton Review all list Dordt on their best colleges lists. Dordt is home to approximately 1,500 students.
