Mills Signs With Defender Baseball

(Friday, April 21; Sioux Center, Iowa) Caleb Mills has announced his intention to attend Dordt and join the Defender baseball program.  Mills has competed for Oostburg High School (Wisconsin).  

Mills has played catcher, pitcher and outfield and has also competed for Sheboygan Legion Baseball. He has a career .352 batting average and has been a varsity starter for three seasons and earned all-conference honors in 2022.  

"I chose to attend Dordt because it has an established engineering program, a solid foundation in scripture, and a perfect place where I can play baseball," said Mills.  

Caleb is the son of Jason and Nikki Mills of Waldo, Wisconsin. He plans to study engineering at Dordt.  

Dordt University in Sioux Center, Iowa, is a comprehensive Christian college rooted in the Reformed tradition. The Defender athletic program is a part of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA), Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC), American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA) and the Mid-American Collegiate Hockey Association (MACHA).?    

U.S. News & World Report, Money Magazine, Forbes.com, Washington Monthly, and Princeton Review all list Dordt on their best colleges lists. Dordt is home to approximately 1,500 students.
