Wildeboer To Join Defender Hockey

(Monday, May 22; Sioux Center, Iowa) Tyson Wildeboer, a student at Valley Christian Academy (Saskatchewan), has announced his intention to attend Dordt and join the Defender hockey program.

"We are excited to make Tyson part of our hockey program here at Dordt. We believe he will be a great asset for us and it will be a lot of fun to see him grow with our other freshman over the next four seasons," said Dordt hockey coach Tyler Morgan.

Wildeboer is a 6-3 center who played for the Warman and Hague minor hockey teams and won a pair of league championships.

"The Christian aspect was the biggest factor and my admissions counselor was amazing in helping me through the process of application," said Wildeboer.

Tyson is the son of Jason and Tanya Wildeboer of Warman, Saskatchewan. He plans to study animal science at Dordt.
