Mount Marty led Briar Cliff 14-0 at halftime on Saturday in Yankton and scored a touchdown late in the third quarter for a 21-7 lead.  The Lancers put the game away with a 23-7 advantage for the 40-14 win.

Dordt started fast and pulled away from Doane on Saturday for a  49-7 win after leading 14-7 after one quarter. Three touchdowns in the second quarter put the Defenders up 35-7 at halftime and effectively put the game out of reach with a drive that took 9:04 off the clock to start the half.  A Brendan Pieper 17 yard touchdown run made the final 49-7. Dordt was down 9-0 late in the first quarter when Dordt went on a 21-0 run and led 28-16 at halftime. Dordt was up 35-16 after a score in the third quarter by Anthony Trojahn but Mount Marty struck for two touchdowns to narrow the difference to 35-29 with 9:34 left in the game.  Dordt's ensuing drive went 64 yards and extended the lead to 41-29 and a field goal late in the game made the final 44-29.
