The Dordt Defenders lost a 3-0 decision against No. 5 Bellevue in Bellevue, Neb. on Saturday.

HOW IT HAPPENED

The Defenders fell behind early as Bellevue scored in the 21st minute. Jeremiah Hteh scored his fifth goal of the season. 

Dordt had an opportunity a few minutes later on a corner kick but was unable to put a shot up. Bellevue scored the second goal of the game after Buster Honeywood netted his second of the season to go up 2-0 before the half.

Dordt struggled to get momentum and had limited offensive opportunities throughout the second half. Kyi Nicholson scored the final goal of the night in the 81st minute.

By the numbers:

• Dordt took four shots, one on goal
• Bellevue took nine shots, four on goal
• Mitchell Dryden had one save
• Taariq Ganga had one save
• Levi Jaeger, Tyson Reitsma, Anton Forsch, and Marco Laenen each had a shot
