Box Score The Dordt women's soccer team lost a 2-1 decision to the Hastings Broncos in conference match on Saturday afternoon.Â
HOW IT HAPPENED
Much of the first half was a back and forth match with no one dominating. The Defenders had a great chance in the 18th minute after
Karinna Tel took the ball all the way down the sideline and into the box where she made a pass on the ground to find
Joslyn Terpstra but she put it off the back post. Hastings scored in the 33rd minute after Allison Seery ripped a shot to the back post the found the side netting to but the Broncos up 1-0 going into halftime.
Dordt evened things up in the 51st minute after
Maria Zylstra found
Karinna Tel on a through pass that Tel finished with a one-time shot at the near post.
Hastings scored in the 90th minute on a corner kick that Dekota Schubert snuck into the near post to secure a Bronco win.
Dordt was only able to put one shot in the second half after putting up eight in the first.

Dordt's record falls to 9-4-1 overall and 5-3-1 in GPAC play. Dordt will host Dakota Wesleyan next Saturday during Defender Days.
