(Tuesday, December 17; Sioux Center, Iowa) Â Â Zoe Kellenberger, a senior at West Lyon High School (Iowa), has announced her intention to attend Dordt and join the Defender cheer program.
"I am so very excited to have Zoe join our cheer program at Dordt next year! She has a fun and bubbly personality, and I am excited to see her bring her energy to our sidelines at games next year! We are looking forward to seeing how she grows and will help lead our team over the next four years here at Dordt!" said Dordt coach

Kellenberger is an Iowa Honor Cheer Squad honoree and has lettered in cheer all four years at West Lyon.
"I chose Dordt because I feel it is a place where I can grow in my faith and pursue my lifelong dream of cheering in college as well. Coach Mel is fantastic and energetic which makes me want nothing more but to join the team and have fun practices as well.
Everyone I met at the open gym is so kind and uplifting that I just want what's best for me. Â I feel like Dordt is the best place for me to achieve my elementary education degree as well as enjoying the college life with cheer and music as well," said Kellenberger.
Zoe is the daughter of Michelle and Ladell Knobloch of Lester, Iowa. She plans to study
education.
