The Dordt Defenders scored 36 points in the second quarter and rolled to a 103-77 win over the Mount Marty Lancers on Saturday afternoon in Yankton, South Dakota. Dordt converted a school record 20 three-point baskets for their ninth win to start the season and improved to 5-0 in the GPAC.

Dordt never trailed and was up 19-13 after on quarter of play. A three-point play by
Janie Van Donge to start the second period started a 14-0 run over the first 2:47 of the period with Van Donge and
Macy Sievers combining for all of the points in the string. Van Donge punctuated the quarter with a pair of free throws for a 55-31 halftime lead.
The entire second half was played with a significant difference and Dordt never led by less than 18 on the way to 103 points.
