Jenna Roberts (Clive, Iowa) has signed a letter of intent to attend Dordt University and join the Defender women's soccer program.
Roberts is a 5'5" forward and outside midfielder who has played three years for Des Moines Christian heading into her final season this spring. Roberts has scored 75 goals to go with 21 assists in her three years as a starter for the Lions. A two-time all-state selection, Roberts helped lead Des Moines Christian to a combined 54-7 record and to the state tournament the last three years, including a state championship in 2022. She has earned all-district three years and was a member of the all-tournament team at the state tournament. Roberts was named to the Des Moines Register All-Iowa Girls Soccer team multiple seasons and also plays for the VSA Rush club team.
"I chose to attend Dordt because they have an incredible community that seeks to glorify God in every aspect of life," stated Roberts.
Roberts plans to major in Social Work at Dordt and is the daughter of Victor and Rosalyn.
Dordt University in Sioux Center, Iowa, is a comprehensive Christian college rooted in the Reformed tradition. The Defender athletic program is a part of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA), Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC), American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA) and the Mid-American Collegiate Hockey Association (MACHA).
U.S. News & World Report, Money Magazine, Forbes.com, Washington Monthly, and Princeton Review all list Dordt on their best colleges lists. Dordt is home to approximately 1,500 students.
