(Thursday, April 25; Sioux Center, Iowa) Seth Enoch, a senior at Coronado High School (Colorado), has announced his intention to attend Dordt University and join the Defender basketball program.
"Seth had a real nice career as a guard in Colorado. We look forward to his development in his faith and on the court," said Dordt basketball coach Brian Van Haaften.
Enoch is a 6-1 guard who averaged 10 points, four assists, three rebounds and two steals during his career. Enoch also played for the Colorado Miners Elite program. He was a CSML All-Star Team member and earned first-team academic all-state accolades.
"I chose Dordt because of the amazing God-centered community as well as the opportunity to serve God through basketball," said Enoch.
Seth is the son of Clayton and Krista Enoch of Colorado Springs, Colorado. He plans to study Biology.
Dordt University in Sioux Center, Iowa, is a comprehensive Christian college rooted in the Reformed tradition. The Defender athletic program is a part of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA), Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC), American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA) and the Mid-American Collegiate Hockey Association (MACHA).
U.S. News & World Report, Money Magazine, Forbes.com, Washington Monthly, and Princeton Review all list Dordt on their best colleges lists. Dordt is home to approximately 1,500 students.
