Malia Morrow (Abbotsford, B.C.) has signed a letter of intent to attend Dordt University and join the Defenders women's soccer program.
Morrow is a 5'7" striker who played multiple seasons for both Abbotsford Christian School and the Fraser Valley Selects Club. Morrow served as the team captain and was the top goal scorer for Abbotsford Christian the last three years. She was a key member of a Fraser Valley Selects team that won the league title in 2024 and placed second in the Phoenix Cup Tournament.
"I chose to attend Dordt because of its Christ-centered culture and strong sense of community", commented Morrow. "I am looking forward to campus life and being part of the Defenders women's soccer program."
Morrow plans to major in Nursing at Dordt and is the daughter of Ryan and Amy.
Dordt University in Sioux Center, Iowa, is a comprehensive Christian college rooted in the Reformed tradition. The Defender athletic program is a part of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA), Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC), American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA) and the Mid-American Collegiate Hockey Association (MACHA).
U.S. News & World Report, Money Magazine, Forbes.com, Washington Monthly, and Princeton Review all list Dordt on their best colleges lists. Dordt is home to approximately 1,500 students.
