Box Score The Dordt Defender women's swim team earned 229 points in its inaugural competition a the GPAC Invite hosted by Midland in Fremont, Nebraska on Saturday, September 28. The College of Saint Mary, Midland, Morningside, and Dordt compiled the early season field.

Lucy Borofka secured Dordt's first individual title with a 25.72 in the 50 yard freestyle and she also took second in the 100 meter backstroke where she finished in 1:03.93.  Paige Corkill also earned a second place finish in the 100 yard freestyle with a 1:02.43.

Borofka and Corkill both were part of the 200 yard medley relay team that finished runner-up with a time of 2:01.46.

Dordt's next competition will be October 12 at the Spire Relays in Lansing, Kansas.
