The Dordt Defender men's basketball team couldn't overcome an early double-digit deficit and lost a 99-72 decision to Concordia at Friedrich Arena in Seward, Nebraska on Saturday, January 4. The loss was Dordt's first of the season in 16 starts and forced them out of the top spot in the Great Plains Athletic Conference.
How It Happened:
- Concordia scored the first 10 points and pushed the lead to 27-7 midway through the first half.
- The Defenders were unable to make a charge back at the Bulldogs as Concordia scored 10 of the first 13 points in the second half and converted 10-16 three-point shots in the second half.
