Dordt opened the 2025–26 season by running away from William Woods, 113–74.
HOW IT HAPPENED
Dordt used multiple scoring bursts to build separation early and never looked back. After trailing 5-4 in the opening minutes, the Defenders rattled off a 10-2 run keyed by baskets from Connor Millikan and Jake Proctor to grab control. Dordt pushed the margin to double digits midway through the first half behind a string of three straight three-pointers and led 55–32 at the break. The second half brought more of the same — an 11–0 surge stretched the advantage past 30, and Dordt was never challenged while shooting over 60 percent from the floor and forced 20 turnovers.
