SIOUX CENTER, Iowa (Oct. 29, 2025) — The NAIA women's volleyball top 25 poll has been released for the week, and the Dordt University Defenders appear in the receiving votes category with an 18-7 overall record and a 9-5 mark in the Great Plains Athletic Conference.
Dordt has won six of its last eight matches and enters the final week of the regular season with two contests remaining. The Defenders' most recent outing was a 3-1 victory over Waldorf on Saturday, Oct. 25. Dordt faces Dakota Wesleyan on Wednesday night in a matchup of teams in the receiving votes category before closing the regular season Nov. 4 at Morningside in Sioux City.
GPAC members Northwestern (No. 3), Concordia (No. 4) and Midland (No. 19) are ranked in this week's poll, while Dakota Wesleyan and Dordt received 13 and six points, respectively, in the second-to-last in-season poll of the year.
The final poll will be released Nov. 12, following the GPAC postseason tournament, which begins Nov. 8. The top four seeds will host the fifth through eighth seeds in the opening round.
