The Dordt Defenders turned in a dominant performance on Saturday afternoon and won a 10-3 decision over Arkansas in ACHA Division III hockey.
Dordt led 3-1 after one period and 6-1 after two before securing the 10-3 win to build a 6-1 record and a six-game winning streak.
Nick Espenson started the scoring on assists from Levi Loken and Connor Perakslis and Mason Spejcher added goals before the period ended for the 3-1 lead.
Rylan Veenstra scored back-to-back goals in the second period with the second assisted by Nick Espenson and Zach Espenson scored the first of two goals to end the second and start the third. Isaac Baart found the net twice in the third period and Nick
Espenson added his second goal in the final period.
