Women's Volleyball | All-GPAC Honors Announced

(Tuesday, November 18; Sioux Center, Iowa) The 2025 Great Plains Athletic Conference Women's Volleyball All-Conference teams have been announced, and the Dordt Defenders placed four players on the list after finishing 10-6 in conference play, tied for fourth in the standings.

Haley Kuperus (Sophomore; Ireton, Iowa) earned first-team honors, leading the Defenders with a .282 attack efficiency while averaging 2.57 kills per set and nearly one block per set.

"Haley holds herself to an incredibly high standard and was willing to step outside her comfort zone for the good of our team. She embraced a new position, stayed coachable and flexible, and still had an outstanding season. I'm so proud of the way she grew and the impact she made," said Dordt coach Jacki Smith.

Carlee Jackson (Junior; Sioux City, Iowa) collected second-team honors, pacing Dordt with 5.98 assists per set and adding 1.86 digs per set along with 35 ace serves.

"Carlee took major strides forward this year. From her sophomore to junior year she elevated her consistency, her serving, and her defense. She's incredibly smart, ran a strong offense for us, and is very deserving of this honor," said Smith.

Kylie Beckering (Sophomore; Chaska, Minnesota) and Tarren Spartz (Junior; Adrian, Minnesota) were both named honorable mention selections. Beckering led the team with 4.55 digs per set and recorded a team-high 46 aces, while Spartz contributed 2.16 kills per set. Spartz was a second-team selection in 2024.

"Kylie is the motor of our team — consistent, competitive, and spunky. She pushes herself every day and has high goals for her own development. Her drive sets a great tone for our team, and I'm thrilled to see her recognized," said Smith. "Tarren stepped into a new role this season and shined as an opposite for us. Her blocking grew tremendously, and she fully embraced the challenge of contributing in a different way. I'm really proud of her versatility and impact."

Dordt finished the season with a 19-9 record, the program's highest win total since 2021 and its best winning percentage since 2020.
