(Saturday, November 22; Sioux Center. Iowa) With the completion of the first round of the NAIA Football Championship Series (FCS), the Dordt Defenders have learned their second-round opponent.  Dordt will travel to Indianapolis, Indiana to face the Marian Knights on Saturday, November 29 in one of eight games being played in the NAIA FCS that day.

The Knights are the no. 6 seed in the field and completed a 10-1 season with a 5-0 record in the Mid-States Football Association Midwest and earned an automatic berth by winning that division.
Marian lost a 45-21 decision to the University of Indianapolis to start the year and won the next 10. 

Dordt qualified for the NAIA FCS field with a 9-1 record and earned an at-large berth while sharing the GPAC Championship.
