The Dordt Defender women's basketball team improved to 3-0 with a 92-65 win over John Brown on Saturday afternoon, November 8 in Orange City. The Defenders put 53 points on the board in the first half and were up 79-43 entering the fourth quarter.

Dordt's first double digit lead of the game came at the 3:35 mark with Desta Hoogendoorn scoring on a layup as Dordt started the game 12-18 from the field and led 25-11 after one quarter.  Dordt steadily extended the lead in the second quarter to lead 53-30 at the break and a 7-13 third quarter shooting performance put the game out of reach.
