The Dordt Defenders fought through Concordia's early pressure, withstanding a slow start on the way to an eventual 79-57 win to improve to 10-1 overall and 6-1 in the league while handing Concordia its second loss of the season.

Dordt found itself playing from behind for much of the opening quarter and into the early stages of the second as Concordia set the early tempo. The Bulldogs scored the first points of the game and opened a 7–2 lead before Dordt began to settle in offensively. Concordia continued to hold the edge through the first period, pushing the margin to 16–12 and later 20–18 at the end of the first quarter. Early in the second, Concordia again created separation, extending its lead to 22–18 and then 27–23. The Bulldogs built their largest advantage of the half at 30–25 midway through the second quarter, forcing Dordt to respond.

Dordt answered with a poised closing stretch. Gracie Schoonhoven sparked the response with a pull-up jumper at 3:37 to cut the deficit to three, then added a free throw on the next possession to make it 30–28. After Concordia briefly steadied, Savannah Butterfield drilled a three at the 2:55 mark to pull Dordt within two (33–31), and moments later Willow Bleeker knocked down two free throws at 1:14 to tie the game at 33–33. Macy Sievers delivered a three-pointer with 0:43 remaining to cap a 12–3 run and send Dordt into halftime up 37–33.

The Defenders' defense took over in the second half, limiting Concordia to 24 points over the final 20 minutes. Dordt controlled the glass, and steadily stretched the margin with balanced scoring and ball movement. Concordia shot under 27 percent from the field in the second half, while Dordt turned stops into offense to pull away, outscoring the Bulldogs 42–24 after intermission to secure the win
