(Thursday, December 18; Sioux Center, Iowa) Ady Jeltema, a senior at MOC FV High School (Iowa), has announced her intention to attend Dordt and join the Defender basketball program.

  • Honors & Highlights: Averaged 18.5 points per game as a junior with 5.3 rebounds and 2.9 steals per game.  Converted 32.1 percent of her three-point shots.  Has surpassed 1,000 career points and 300 rebounds. Earned All-District and All-Conference honors in 2023-24 and 2024-25.  Was a All-State Second-Team honoree in Class 4A in 2024-25.
Why Dordt: "The decision to attend Dordt University was definitely a God-driven decision. After a lot of prayer I knew Dordt was my next step. I fell in love with Dordt's campus, along with the renovations to come. Most importantly, I fell in love with the positive environment. The coaching staff and team were so welcoming!"
