Two players from the Dordt University men's soccer team received additional postseason honors as the College Sports Communicators (CSC) announced its annual Academic All-District teams for the 2025 season.
Trigve Elkins and
Levi Jaeger were named to the CSC Academic All-District team, both receiving the academic honor for the first time in their respective careers.Â
The 2025-26 Academic All-District® Men's Soccer teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes men's soccer honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
To qualify for a CSC Academic All-District honor, student-athletes must meet a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.50, be a sophomore or above both academically and athletically, and have a significant role on their team, typically starting at least two-thirds or playing in 90% of the team's games.Â
Elkins, a sophomore from Zeeland, Mich., played in all 17 matches with seven starts as forward in the Defenders line-up. Elkins totaled seven points and tied for second on the team with three goals scored. He is a Business Administration / Marketing and Entrepreneurship major and was recognized as an NAIA Scholar Athlete earlier this fall.
Jaeger, a junior from Olathe, Kan., started 16 matches as a member of the Defenders backline and midfield group. Jaeger totaled one assist and ranked second on the team in minutes played (1,359). Jaeger is a two-time all-conference selection and was named an NAIA Scholar Athlete for the second time earlier this season.
Dordt completed the 2025 season with a 4-7-6 record.
