Dordt overcame a hot start by Briar Cliff to lead 20-17 after one quarter and 39-33 at halftime. Dordt extended the lead to double figures early in the second half before Briar Cliff closed to within four in the fourth quarter. Dordt controlled the last five minutes of the game and won 77-65.
