(Friday, February 28; Sioux Center, Iowa) Kortney Hofmeyer, a senior at Unity Christian high School (Iowa), has announced her intention to attend Dordt University and join the Defender basketball program.

Why Dordt:  "I chose to attend Dordt University because I loved the atmosphere and culture that I experienced on my visits and growing up close to campus. I also love the strong Christian Education that it provides as that is something I value deeply. I look forward to a well rounded education culturally, socially, physically, spiritually, and emotionally that Dordt University provides. I am very excited to continue playing the sport that I love with amazing people around me."
