Lucas Lorenzen (Junior; Milford, Iowa) has been named to the first team.
Lorenzen is studying psychology and averaged 22.7 points per game along with 5.7 rebounds per contest while converting 40.4 percent of his three-point shots and 53.7 percent of his field goal attempts. Lorenzen ends his third season at Dordt with 1,776 career points and 579 rebounds and 237 made three-point baskets. Lorenzen started all 95 games over the last three seasons and has an 18.7 points per game average. He ranks fifth all-time in scoring and 17
th all-time in rebounds and he is fifth in career made three-point baskets.
Lorenzen has a 3.74 grade point average and earned All-GPAC 1
st Team honors for the second time this season and he is the third player in Dordt program history to be named a 1
st Team All-American. He was also a CSC Academic All-District selection in 2024 and he's the first 1
st Team selection since Trevor Wolterstorff claimed the honor in 2012-13.
CSC Academic All-Americans must be nominated by a CSC member and have at least a cumulative 3.5 grade point average and be at least a sophomore academic status.
