A 1-0 loss in game one and a 15-5 loss in game two ended the Dordt baseball season in Forest City, Iowa against Waldorf on Friday afternoon, April 25 in GPAC play.

GAME ONE
The hosts broke through with a run in the sixth inning and that was all the scoring in a game where opportunities were limited.  Dordt had a chance early and had runners at first and third with two outs but he side was retired on a fly out.

Dordt had a runner at second in the second inning and looked poised to break through with the bases loaded in the fourth.  A double play ended that threat and Waldorf finally broke through with a run on three hits in the bottom of the sixth inning.

GAME TWO
Waldorf scored three in the third inning and pulled away after Dordt tied it at 3-3 for the shortened 15-5 win.

Dordt answered Waldorf's three runs with a three in the top of the fourth as DJ Kerr singled in Logan Templeton and Gabriel McFarland delivered a single that got Drew Oreskes across.  Joseph Schlesselman ended the Dordt scoring in the inning with a single to get Cade Williams in.  Dordt missed out on an even bigger inning as they left the bases loaded when the inning ended.

Waldorf added two runs in the fifth and four in the sixth for a  9-3 lead.    Dordt got a Templeton single in the seventh that got Jimmy Twombly in and a Logan Harris ground out produced Dordt's final run.

Waldorf ended the game with a six-run seventh inning on four hits.

Dordt ends the season with a 7-21 GPAC record and an 18-32 overall record.
