The Dordt University men's soccer team dropped its season-opening match to Trinity Christian (Ill.) 2-0 played this afternoon in Palos Heights, Ill.
Scoreless until the 36th minute, Trinity Christian broke through with a goal by Rafael Alonso from a header off a corner kick. The host Trolls held a slight 6-4 advantage in total shots after the opening 45 minutes.
With the score still 1-0, the Trolls netted an insurance goal by Diego Millas, who touched a shot by Defenders goalkeeper
