Individual Leaders LAST TIME
Dordt scored on a 99 yard drive to start the scoring on Saturday, September 13 and followed with drives of 55 and 70 yards to build a 21-0 lead at halftime against Doane and extended the lead with another score on the first drive of the second half.  With the game well in hand Dordt was able to control the game and secured the shutout with a blocked field goal attempt.   Northwestern scored on a pair of Gianna Bennett field goals in the second period for before getting a short field to work with as the first half ended and led 13-0 after Gardner Casey plunged in from a yard away. The score remained 13-0 until the 6:09 mark of the fourth quarter when Carson Ness scored on a five yard pass reception to cap a 73 yard drive.  Northwestern added a field goal for a 23-0 win.
  • Northwestern outgained Dakota Wesleyan 355-73 and gained 243 yards rushing and allowed 20 yards on the ground.
  • Duncan was 9-23 passing for 97 yards and ran 17 times for 145 yards.
  • Carson Ness caught three passes for 47 yards.
  • Northwestern had four sacks by four different players.
THE SERIES

Northwestern leads the series 18-0 with the last two games decided by a single score.  The most recent meeting was on November 9, 2024 when Northwestern's Eli Stader knocked in a 38 yard field goal for the games only score.
Both teams ran for 91 yards with Dordt passing for 125 and Northwestern getting 78 in the air.
