(Tuesday, January 13; Sioux Center, Iowa)  Ryne Burroughs, a senior at Council Bluffs Lewis Central High School (Iowa), has announced his intention to attend Dordt and join the Defender baseball program.

Honors and Stats: Competed for the Nebraska Prospects in addition to Lewis Central; part of a 2025 Hawkeye 10 Conference Championship team; competed in the 2025 PBR Kansas City Showdown and was named Tournament MVP while earning the pitching decision in the championship.

When I met the team, I wasn't welcomed as a recruit that was trying to take someone's spot, I was welcomed as a teammate like I'd been playing with them all year.
