Football | CSC Academic All-District Honors Announced

(Wednesday, January 7; Sioux Center, Iowa) The 2025–26 Academic All-District Football teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The teams have been announced, and Dordt has eight players named to the NAIA list.

Noah Strickfaden (Sophomore; Norwood Young America, Minnesota), Jacob Van Donge (Sophomore; Orange City, Iowa), Keenan Valverde (Sophomore; Pierce, Nebraska), Jamin Stuhr (Senior; Webster City, Iowa), Zach Quiring (Sophomore; Bradshaw, Nebraska), Thomas McCullough (Senior; Ravenna, Michigan), Preston McCoy (Senior; Galva, Iowa), and Isaac Kacmarynski (Junior; Pella, Iowa) all earned the honor. All of the honorees are first-time Academic All-District selections. Years listed are based on athletic eligibility.

Strickfaden completed 110-of-196 passes for 1,754 yards and 13 touchdowns. He also rushed for 273 yards and scored two rushing touchdowns. Strickfaden is studying Business Administration: Finance and was a 2025 All-GPAC Honorable Mention selection.

Van Donge caught 15 passes for 238 yards and a touchdown. He is studying Criminal Justice.

Valverde returned 13 punts for a 13.4 yards-per-return average and added 11 kickoff returns for a 25.6 yards-per-return average. He also recorded 59 rushing attempts for 306 yards and four rushing touchdowns, along with a receiving touchdown. Valverde is studying Kinesiology and earned 1st-Team All-GPAC honors in 2025.

Stuhr recorded four tackles for loss, 14 solo tackles, and 11 assists. Stuhr studied Exercise Science.

Quiring tallied 24 solo tackles and a team-high 12 tackles for loss, along with two sacks and an interception. Quiring is studying Agriculture–Agri-Business and earned 1st-Team All-GPAC honors in 2025.

McCullough recorded two interceptions, 17 solo tackles, and 18 assists. McCullough is studying Theology: Mission & Ministry.

McCoy rushed 87 times for 584 yards and eight touchdowns. He also caught seven passes for 47 yards. McCoy graduated after studying Business Administration and earned 2nd-Team All-GPAC honors in 2025..

Kacmarynski played in all 11 games and totaled 46 solo tackles and 43 assisted tackles, including 3.5 tackles for loss, two sacks, an interception, and a forced fumble. Kacmarynski is studying Education and earned 1st-Team All-GPAC honors in 2025..

Academic All-District nominees must have at least sophomore academic standing with a cumulative 3.5 grade point average. Nominees must also appear in at least 90 percent of the team's games or start 66 percent of the season's competitions.
