Central Christian swept Dordt on Thursday, February 12 by scores of 25-3 and 9-3 to drop the Defenders to 3-3 this season. The two teams will play again on Friday, February 13 in McPherson, Kansas in a pair of seven inning games that will start at noon.

Dordt took an early lead in the top of the 1st inning when
Logan Harris singled and was driven home by a
Drew Oreskes single. The Tigers responded immediately in the bottom half with a three-run home run.
Leading 5-1 in the 4th, Central Christian broke the game open with a 9-run explosion, followed by seven runs in the 5th and four in the 6th.
Bennett Spronk was the pitcher of record for the loss, while
Joey Pedersen pitched three innings of relief.

Jimmy Twombly later scored on a balk. However, a grand slam in the bottom of the 2nd extended the Tigers' lead to 7-2.
Gabriel McFarland added a sacrifice fly for the Defenders in the 3rd, but a late home run by the Tigers sealed the result.
