The Dordt Defenders battled early but were unable to keep up with a hot-shooting Morningside team, falling 103–88 on the road.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Dordt led as late as 25–24 in the first half before Morningside used a 14–5 run to take control and carried a 49–38 advantage into halftime. The Mustangs extended the margin early in the second half, building the lead to as many as 21 points.
Dordt answered with a run of its own midway through the period, using consecutive three-pointers from
Asa Rogosich and
Connor Millikan as part of a 14–4 stretch to trim the deficit to 68–59 with 13:33 remaining. Morningside responded by pushing the lead back to double figures and maintained control the rest of the way, shooting over 60 percent from the floor to secure the victory.
Dordt is 12-12 overall and 7-9 in the GPAC with four games remaining. Dordt will be off on Saturday, February 7 before hosting two games next week against Briar Cliff and Dakota Wesleyan.
