Women's Track and Field | Weekend Preview

The Event: 

  • the Dordt University women's track and field team will compete as a split squad this weekend (Feb.6-7)
  • on Friday, Feb.6, a group of Defender athletes will compete at the WSC Wildcat Invite in Wayne, Neb.
  • another group of Defenders will competed in a two-day meet held in Lincoln, Neb., the Husker Invite, beginning on Feb. 6 and going through Feb.7

 Schedule Outlook:

  • the Defenders indoor season consists of 10 meets (regular season) in seven different weekends, leading up to the GPAC Indoor Championship on Feb.20-21
  • this is the sixth weekend of the indoor season
  • there is one more weekend of competition after this in preparation for the GPAC Championship
  • Dordt will host the GPAC Indoor Championship on Feb.20-21
  • the NAIA National Championship will be on March 5-7 in Gainesville, Fla.
