The Dordt University men's track and field team closed out the Frank Sevigne Husker Invitational with a pair of national qualifier performances this weekend. The 2-day meet was held at the Bob Devaney Sports Center in Lincon, Neb.

• Isaac Davelaar claimed a first place finish in the 600m while his Defenders teammate, Bennett Wassenaar, finished 7th
  • Davelaar ran a season-best time (1:19.1) and hit the 'A' standard where he has the third best time in the NAIA
  • Wassenaar's time ranks 10th all-time at Dordt
• Davelaar, Wassenaar, along with Levi Schelhaas and Isaiah Johnson placed fourth in the 4x400 Invite Division, the only NAIA team in the field
  • the Defenders came across the finish line in 3:15, betting their NAIA standing to No.6 and fifth best all-time at Dordt
• Schelhaas posted a top 10 finish in the 400m where he moved up No.3 in the GPAC with a time of 48.86
• three Dordt runners, Truman Johnson, Steven Hebert and Levi Landman, all finished in the top five in the 5000m
  • Johnson (3rd) led the way with a time of 15:29 while Hebert placed fourth and ran a personal-best 15:49
  • Landman was fifth (15:56)
• Kaden Van Wyngarden and Luke Swanson recorded top 10 finishes in the mile and 800m, respectively
  • Swanson's time of 1:55.04 was good for a ninth place finish and sits No.7 in the GPAC and 10th in program history
  • Van Wyngarden placed 8th in the mile with a personal-best time of 4:15
