(Wednesday, March 25; Sioux Center, Iowa) The Great Plains Athletic Conference has announced its players of the week for softball games played March 16-22 and Dordt's Rylee Yager (Freshman; Estherville, Iowa) has been named the pitcher-of-the-week.

Yager posted a 2-0 record in 10 innings pitched and didn't allow a run. Yager gave up two hits and struck out 15 with three walks issued. 

Yager is currently 11-4 in 103 innings pitched this season and has 122 strikeouts with 27 walks. Dordt is scheduled to play Hastings and Doane on Friday and Saturday, March 27 and 28 on the road. Dordt is currently 23-6.
