Park utilized a powerful offensive performance to defeat Dordt on Saturday afternoon, March 7, in De Witt Gymnasium, winning 25-19, 25-17, 25-16.

Park established control early in the opening set. While Dordt held a brief 7-6 lead following a
Joel Van Groningen kill, Park responded with a 3-0 run to take a 9-8 lead they would not relinquish. A service ace by Murillo Silva and a block by Moises Ortiz and Umberto Caleca pushed the Park lead to 15-11. Dordt remained within striking distance at 21-18, but Park closed the set on a 4-1 run, punctuated by an Adrian Figueroa kill to secure the 25-19 win.
The second set saw Park break away mid-set. After the teams traded points early, Park used a 4-0 surge highlighted by kills from Leonardo Maldonado and Mihailo Ivanovic to lead 10-4. The Pirates' defense intensified as the set progressed, recording four blocks during a 6-1 run that extended the advantage to 16-7. Dordt attempted a late rally, cutting the deficit to 18-14 following a block by
Cory Kuperus and
Cade Schmidt, but Park steadied to win 25-17 on a Maldonado service ace.
Park left little doubt in the third set, racing out to a 5-0 lead behind two service aces from Maldonado and a block by Ivanovic and Figueroa. The lead swelled to 12-3 following a three-kill sequence from Moises Ortiz and Adrian Figueroa. Dordt managed to trim the lead late in the set due to several Park errors, but the Pirates' early cushion was too much to overcome. A Dordt service error eventually sealed the 25-16 victory for the Pirates.
Park finished the match hitting .341 as a team, led by Adrian Figueroa and Leonardo Maldonado who both recorded 14.5 points.
