(Friday, April 17; Sioux Center, Iowa) Jaely Kooiker, a senior at Lawton Bronson High School (Iowa), has announced her intention to attend Dordt and join the Defender basketball team.

Highlights:  Averaged 12 points per game during her high school career and earned all-conference honors twice. Averaged 9.4 points with 5.8 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game in 2025-26.
