Chloe Kreuz (Junior; Rutherfordton, North Carolina) has earned the honor for a second time this season.
Kreuz batted .667 last week with 12 hits, three doubles, four home runs and 12 rbi. She had a 1.500 slugging percentage and posted a pair of pitching wins. Kreuz established a new single season record with her second homerun on Friday night against the College of Saint Mary and added to the total in Saturday's wins over Concordia and has 18 this season. She also had 56 runs batted in this year with 17 doubles and 61 runs scored. Kreuz is 6-0 this season in eight pitching appearances with a 1.70 earned run average.
Kreuz also tied the Dordt single season record with her 73
rd hit over the weekend and she has 205 career hits which is second all-time at Dordt. Her 17 doubles this put her in a tie for third all-time at Dordt and she has a career .421 batting average.
Dordt will host Dakota Wesleyan on Thursday, April 23 and conclude the regular season against Briar Cliff on Saturday, April 25.
