The Dordt Defender men's golf team is tied for fourth place after 36 holes at a 54-hole event hosted by Bethany College (Kansas) at Sand Station Golf Course. The Defenders shot a 298 to move to fourth place after round two, moving up from a seventh place spot after the first 18 holes. Day two will be played on Tuesday, April 7.

Dordt shot 312-298=610 and is tied with Texas A&M Texarkana with Weatherford leading the field with a 284-294=578. Dordt is nine strokes out of third place and two strokes in front of William Penn's 308-304=612.
Dordt's top individual is led by
Joseph Wolfe's 76-74-150 and is tied for 13
th while
Caleb Douma and
Samuel Wolfe are tied for 17
th, one stroke behind as both shot 78-73=151.
Lloyd Hughes (Iowa Western), Jenson Boyce (Friends) and Youssef El Hali (Weatherford) all shot 143 to lead the field in the individual competition.
The final 18 holes will be played on Tuesday, April 7 at 8:30am.
