Women's Golf | Three Athletes Named CSC Academic All-District

(Wednesday, June 17; Sioux Center, Iowa) The 2025-26 Academic All-District Women's At-Large Teams, selected by the College Sports Communicators, have been announced. The teams recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in competition and in the classroom, and three Dordt athletes earned the distinction.

Jillian Eidsness (Senior; Vermillion, South Dakota), Katherine Beekman (Senior; Inver Grove Heights, Minnesota) and Ashlee Sweeter (Sophomore; Lennox, South Dakota) all earned the honor while competing for the Defenders.

Eidsness earned all-conference honorable mention honors this season and posted an 85.1 strokes-per-round average. She graduated with a degree in communications and maintained a 3.87 grade point average during her four years at Dordt.

Beekman competed in 20 rounds this season and recorded a 91.5 strokes-per-round average. She graduated with a degree in engineering and maintained a 3.60 grade point average during her four years at Dordt.

Sweeter posted an 86.6 strokes-per-round average this season and also earned all-conference honorable mention honors. She is studying nursing and has a 3.51 grade point average.

To be eligible for Academic All-District honors, student-athletes must have attended their institution for at least one academic year, made significant contributions to their team, maintained a cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or higher and been nominated by a College Sports Communicators member.
