Men's Track & Field | Scholar-Athlete Honors For 28 Defenders

The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced the 2026 Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athletes for the spring season and Dordt University has 28 members of the men's track & field program on the list. The national office announced the complete list of Scholar Athletes for the spring season and Dordt had 125 honorees bringing it's 2025-26 total to 300.

The Defenders accounted for the most honorees in men's track and field and were one of seven institutions with 20-or-more. 

In order to be nominated by an institution's head coach or sports information director, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, must appear on the eligibility certificate for the sport and have attended one full year at said institution.
