The Dordt Defender men's swim team opened the 2026-27 season with a third place finish at the GPAC Invite in Fremont, Nebraska.

The Defenders totaled 357 points and claimed third behind Morningside with 436 points and Midland won the opener with 627.  Andrew Seifert claimed three first-place finishes with gold in the 100 breaststroke (55.87), 200 IM (1:52.96) and in the 200 breaststroke (2:04.70).   Marcus Seifert claimed Dordt's other top  finish with first in the 50 free style (20.62).
