The Dordt women opened the 2026-27 season with a 355 point performance and second place at a meet hosted by Midland in Fremont, Nebraska on Saturday, September 26.

Dordt nipped Midland 355-346 for runner up honors and College of Saint Mary won the event with 568 points. 

Dordt was led by runner-up finishes in the 100 breaststroke by Ellie Junk (1:14.59) and the 200 IM (2:30.66).  Ashley Torner was second in the 200 breaststroke (2:51.20).
