Coaching Experience 
Edwards was named assistant coach for the Defenders in the Summer of 2022. He is entering his third year at Dordt. His responsibilities include being the Defenders' Recruiting Coordinator, Hitting and Baserunning Coach, Infield Coach, and Third Base Coach. 

Playing Experience
Started his collegiate career at the University of the Ozarks (Clarksville AR). As a 4 Year starter (2016-2020) for the Eagles Edwards accumulated many awards and records in his time there, including holding multiple freshman year records including Hits, Doubles, Total Bases, RBIs, and Batting Average. Also during his time there, he was a two-time Academic All-American and two-time All-Conference Selection. He was also included on the 2019 ABCA/Rawlings NCAA D3 West All-Region Team as well as the D3baseball.com All-West Region Team. 

Edwards continued his playing career, joining Dordt University to complete his graduate work (2020-2022). With the Defenders Edwards was an All-Conference team member as well as setting the Dordt single-season record for RBIs. 

Education
Earned a B. S. in Business Administration with minors in Spanish and Psychology from the University of the Ozarks. 

Earned M. A. in Public Administration from Dordt University.
