COACHING EXPERIENCE 

Roelofs coached the cornerbacks and kick-off unit at Whitworth in 2018. He arrived at Dordt in January 2021 and coached the linebackers in two games during the spring season. Fall 2021 was his first full season with the Defenders, as he continues to coach linebackers.  

PLAYING EXPERIENCE 

Coach Roelofs attended Whitworth University in Spokane, Washington from 2014-2018, where he was a captain and 4 year starter at cornerback on the football team. He helped Whitworth to a 31-10 record over that span, and to a national playoff appearance in 2015. Roelofs earned 2nd team All-NWC honors his sophomore and junior season, as well as 1st team All-NWC and 2nd team D3 All-West Region honors his senior season.
