Before Dordt... played for Pella High School (Iowa) where he caught 19 passes for 303 yards with two touchdowns and was in on 50 solo tackles with four sacks and 12 tackles for loss...was a two-time all-district selection and earned academic all-district honors and helped Pella to a pair of playoff berths and district championships.
