Before Dordt...had a .389 batting average with 26 homeruns and 173 runs batted in...pitched 484 career innings and had 702 strikeouts...graduated from Sturgis Brown (South Dakota) High School. 

Why Dordt... "One of the reasons I chose Dordt was because of the atmosphere. When I first toured, everyone was very welcoming, and it just felt like home. Another reason was ho Christ-centered everything/everyone is. I want to grow in my faith, and I feel this is the best place to do that."
